Ok so now you have the scoop on personal branding so I will keep this one short and to the point for now. By now you know about noise and becoming more personal with your prospective clients. The biggest thing you can do is to thank them on a regular basis for being with you. Make your clients understand how important they are to your business and you to theirs as well. Information is key now. Everyone is looking for information. Remember IT stands for information technology. This is the Information ERA.

People need to see you as a regular person just like they are. Remember I am no different or no better than anyone else. I put my pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else does. The only difference is what you make of it. Regular people are making terrific livings in internet marketing. Why do you think this is? They grab the bull by the horns and go for it. They don’t continue to make excuses. Excuses are just another form of procrastination. Another topic I will have in a future blog…
Now on to the key points:
*Brand yourself before your product
*Always continue to give information to your people
*Always thank them for their participation
*Don’t be known as a product jumper
*Do your due diligence before bringing it to your people
*Do not introduce a product or service unless you use and endorse it
*Remember this is your business, so treat it as such
*If you want a hobby take up bird watching or something
*Most of all have fun with it. Enjoy it and be rewarded
*Lastly – Pay it forward

Ok so now you know about noise from part one. One of the things we are going to do in order to personally brand ourselves is to have a bio posted which will give a little insight as to who we are on a personal level. This will show our potential clients that we are human like everyone else and not just some internet marketer out there playing
the numbers game to make a sale. Now don’t get me wrong many marketers do this and are successful as well. My question is this: How long are they going to be around? How long will they hold their reputation? Will they become known as product peddlers?
Personally I want to be around for a long time. I don’t want to be known for selling products and/ or services and neither should you. I use one social network used for business which is very cool but check this out. The first day I was in the network I received 100 emails from other members. I figured, hey that is cool people want to chat and welcome me to the network. Boy was I wrong. Out of the one hundred messages I received, eight‐five of them were about their business opportunity. No branding, no hello. Oh sure there were some welcomes in the message as well, followed by; “Check out this biz op, check out the power of this product”…
One lady in the network sent me a message welcoming me and stating “Do you know the power of such and such? Check out my website” I sent her a message back about putting yourself on top of the Google search ranks to help in branding yourself using a bio. You know what she sent me back in the message? “How about you network in here before sending out a business opportunity?” Can you believe that? A biz op? Did she even look at it? Apparently not or she would have known it was not a biz op. Now if that is not the pot calling the kettle black I don’t know what is. She also stated she is all over page one and to do a Google search of her name. So I did the search and she was correct she was all over page one. You know what wasn’t there? Yep you guessed it, nothing but sales and business opportunities. To be fair on one of the pages there was a tiny little bio off to the right that you could barely read which was about her…
Well by now you get the point. It doesn’t matter if you are an internet marketer or in real estate, auto sales or any other type of high profile business, branding yourself is truly important in your success today. How great is it to tell all of your clients “Google Me”. When they do, there you are on page one with your bio stating who you are and what you are all about. This is step one in “Personal Branding” for your success. I urge you to take a look at the Google Me program. It will put you and your bio on page one almost immediately…

Another term you will see me use is “Noise”. The term noise is commonly used in marketing, more so when it comes to internet marketing. The explanation I use goes something like this. Two of us are in a crowded room. You are standing across the room from me and it is especially noisy. I am trying to get your attention any way I can, from waving to you or trying to yell across everyone else to get your attention. Well the same thing applies to all of us while trying to get the attention of our future business partners and/ or customers…
We all know how important it is to get our point across using internet marketing. In this example I will use search engines such as Google. We all want to be on page one. The first page is where the majority of internet users find what they are looking for. Some will go to page two if needed but after that I wouldn’t count on it. Our goal is to be higher up on the page ranks. Now that being said, the content on page one can be anything you want it to be, from promoting your business, blog, press releases, articles or bio…
The most important thing you want on page one is something that brands yourself first and your product second. The reason for this you may ask? If you read through other business people’s pages you will almost always see the same thing. Buy this or that or join my business, it is the best thing since sliced bread. This is what you see everywhere. There are so many to choose from it will make your head explode. So what we want to do in the new internet age is to “Brand” ourselves more than our product in order to stand out from the rest. Remember the room? Most internet marketers don’t understand this concept, which gives us all an edge for the time being…

One of my current businesses in which I am a part of, I am an Independent Marketing Representative for Friendswin.com and I am about to reveal a few things about network marketing or MLM in general that have to do with having a subscriber base. Here is something you may not know. I have been involved in network marketing for almost twenty years now and let me tell you. Friendswin is a heck of a lot more fun than selling soap and a lot more lucrative as well…
That being said NM/MLM has changed so much over the past few years due to the internet that normal marketing efforts just don’t work the way they used to…telling people,flyers,home meetings,etc. Top marketers might not like the way that ownership changed a compensation plan or even worse take their downline with them and quite a few of yours as well. You know how I know? If you were thinking that I was one of them then you are correct. I lost quite a few people in my downline at one point a few years ago. Your commissions disappear as fast as the soap I used to sell, after being in the shower for three days poof gone… This is just a couple of examples. There are a few other things that can throw a monkey wrench into your systems as well but stay positive and learn how to market effectively on the internet and you will succeed…
Which brings me to the point of the article. Your Customers/Subscribers are yours. Nobody can take them from you. I am not saying don’t build a downline. I am saying concentrate on your subscriber base and the IMR’s will follow. And they will be quality IMR’s as well…

Now a lot of you are wondering what this title means? It can mean anything you want it to be. The only problem back then was oversaturation in the great network marketing companies that had so much to offer but no where to get complete training. So called gurus that don’t even use their own programs. It is no lie when you hear statistcs about 95% of marketers not making the cut, so to speak and I know this. You know how? I was one of them. So there was a short period of time I couldn’t fulfill what I wanted to do when it came to helping others become free. So I put everything on hold…
With the birth of the World Wide Web I could see things changing for the better. It took awhile but I am now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel again. The internet helps you reach out like never before so now I can reach out to others once again. Internet marketing today vs. ten years ago. what can you say? Wow. You see, the internet is about 90% untouched in marketing businesses. That gives us all a shot at beating the ninety-five percentile. Let’s change that to eighty percent, shall we…
So this is the way it is now. We are at the start of a new journey. A journey at becoming free in whatever you choose to do, instead of doing what you have to do. You make the choice and you make the difference…
I can now go back to what I had originally planned and that is to help others to be successful and to give you the freedom that you and I both deserve…
